7-Day / 1,000-Mile Money-Back Guarantee
7-Day / 1,000-Mile Money-Back Guarantee
Detailed Terms & Conditions
At our dealership, we understand that purchasing a classic vehicle is a significant investment. To ensure absolute confidence in your purchase, we provide a 7-Day or 1,000-Mile Money-Back Guarantee (whichever milestone is reached first). This policy is designed to give you a dedicated window to inspect, test, and fall in love with your classic car, backed by a transparent and secure return process.
1. Core Eligibility & Mandates
To protect the integrity of our vintage inventory, returns will only be accepted if the following strict conditions are met:
Mandatory Dealership Shipping: This policy applies exclusively to vehicles where the initial delivery was arranged and executed via our dealership’s authorized shipping services. Self-transport, independent third-party hauling, or driving the vehicle off our lot at the time of purchase voids this guarantee.
Original Condition Standard: The vehicle must be returned in the exact cosmetic and mechanical condition it was in at the time of purchase.
No Modifications or Alterations: Any adjustments, parts replacements, tuning, aftermarket additions, or mechanical alterations made to the vehicle during the 7-day window will instantly void the return policy.
Non-Transferable: This guarantee is a private covenant between our dealership and the original retail purchaser. It cannot be assigned, transferred, or passed on to any subsequent buyer or third party.
2. The Evaluation Window (Time & Mileage)
The trial period is strictly governed by two caps—time and mileage. Exceeding either cap invalidates the return policy.
The Clock: The 7-day inspection and testing period officially commences the calendar day the customer signs for and takes physical receipt of the vehicle from our transport carrier. The window expires exactly 7 days later at 11:59 PM local time.
The Odometer: The vehicle may be driven up to, but not exceeding, 1,000 miles during the trial period. The starting mileage will be verified against the official Bill of Lading provided by the shipping carrier upon delivery.
3. Prohibited Uses During Trial Period
To ensure the vehicle is returned safely, the vehicle must not be subjected to any of the following during the 7-day window:
Track racing, autocross, or competitive driving.
Commercial use, renting, or leasing.
Subjection to extreme weather exposure or neglect.
Disassembly or diagnostic teardowns without explicit written consent from our service department.
4. Step-by-Step Return Process
If the vehicle fails to pass your personal inspection, mechanical evaluation, or testing, the return must be executed precisely through the following workflow:
Step 1: Formal Notification
The buyer must contact our dedicated sales team via email or phone within the 7-day window. You must state the intent to return before the expiration of the 7th day.
Step 2: Return Transport Logistics
We Cover the Cost: Our dealership will fully arrange, manage, and cover the financial cost of the return shipping.
Approved Carriers Only: The vehicle must be shipped back utilizing only our approved, insured classic car transport carriers. The buyer agrees to cooperate with the carrier’s scheduling for pickup.
Step 3: Receiving Inspection
Upon arrival at our designated storage facility, our team of classic car specialists will conduct a comprehensive multi-point inspection. They will cross-reference the vehicle’s current state against our extensive pre-delivery documentation, photography, and the original Bill of Lading to verify that no new damage, wear, or modifications have occurred.
Step 4: The 24-Hour Refund Commitment
Once the vehicle successfully passes our receiving inspection, the return is officially approved.
Our financial department will initiate a full refund of the purchase price back to the Buyer within 24 hours of inspection approval.
Note: Refunds are issued via the original payment method (e.g., bank wire, certified funds) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Important Disclaimer
While we champion the joy of classic car ownership and make every effort to ensure a seamless transaction, our dealership reserves the right to deny a return or deduct repair/diminished value costs from the refund if a vehicle is returned with undisclosed damage, excess mileage, or missing documentation/keys.
3-Month Limited Warranty
Terms & Conditions
At our dealership, we stand behind the mechanical integrity of our vintage and classic vehicles. To ensure your investment is protected as you begin your ownership journey, we provide this 3-Month Limited Warranty covering major engine and critical electronic components.
By purchasing your vehicle from our dealership, you accept and agree to the specific terms, limitations, and procedures outlined below.
1. Warranty Period & Scope of Coverage
This warranty is active for a strict duration of three (3) months (90 calendar days), commencing automatically on the official date of vehicle purchase (the date listed on the Bill of Sale).
This limited warranty is strictly narrowed to the following components:
-
The Engine Block & Internal Lubricated Parts: Covers internal failures of the engine block, cylinder heads, pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, valves, and oil pump.
-
Electronic Components: Covers primary operational electronic control modules, factory-installed wiring harnesses directly affecting engine operation, starter motors, and alternators.
Note: For classic vehicles equipped with period-correct, vintage, or early-generation electronic components, coverage is limited to restoring the component to its original functional design parameters.
2. Strict Exclusions and Limitations
Classic vehicles require specialized care and maintenance. This warranty is designed to cover unexpected mechanical failures, not routine upkeep or pre-existing vintage character.
The following items, conditions, and damages are strictly excluded from coverage:
-
Normal Wear and Tear / Consumable Items: Brake pads, rotors, drums, tires, belts, hoses, spark plugs, clutches, fluids, filters, seals, and gaskets (unless required in connection with a covered internal engine repair).
-
Misuse, Abuse, and Neglect: Damages resulting from overheating, running the vehicle low on oil/coolant, over-revving, track racing, or competitive driving.
-
Environmental & Storage Damage: Rodent damage, corrosion, rust, or degradation resulting from improper garage storage or exposure to the elements.
-
Unauthorized Repairs: Any diagnostic work, disassembly, or repair attempts conducted without the prior written authorization of our dealership will instantly void this warranty.
-
Accidents and External Hazards: Damage caused by collisions, road hazards, vandalism, theft, or acts of nature.
-
Cosmetological and Non-Operational Items: Interior trim, upholstery, paint, chrome, gauges, aftermarket stereos, and non-essential convenience electronics (e.g., power windows or vintage clocks).
3. Non-Transferability
-
Original Purchaser Only: This warranty is a private, exclusive covenant between our dealership and the original retail buyer listed on the vehicle’s title and purchase agreement.
-
Void Upon Resale: This warranty is strictly non-transferable. If the vehicle is sold, traded, gifted, or if the title is transferred to any third party or dealership during the 3-month period, this warranty immediately terminates and becomes null and void.
4. How to File a Claim (The Repair Procedure)
In the event that you experience a covered engine or electronic failure within your first 3 months of ownership, you must adhere to the following procedure:
Step 1: Immediate Notification
Stop driving the vehicle immediately to prevent further damage. Contact our service and warranty department within forty-eight (48) hours of noticing the issue.
Step 2: Diagnostics and Authorization
-
Do not take the vehicle to a repair shop before speaking with us.
-
Our team will either coordinate transport back to our facility or authorize a certified, pre-approved classic car specialist in your local area to diagnose the issue.
-
Before any repair work begins, the shop must submit a formal digital estimate to our team. We must issue a Written Authorization Number before any parts are ordered or labor commences.
Step 3: Resolution
Once authorized, we will cover the costs of the covered parts and labor up to the pre-approved amount. Our dealership reserves the dynamic right to supply OEM, high-quality reproduction, or period-correct refurbished parts to complete the repair safely and authentically.
5. Legal Disclaimer
This limited warranty is given in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our dealership’s maximum financial liability under this warranty shall not exceed the actual cash value of the vehicle at the time of repair, or the original purchase price, whichever is lower. The dealership is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of time, towing charges, rental car fees, or commercial loss.
